and how to get an international film grant.
Founder of Grant Buro project Maria Ivanova will share her experience of working with international foundations, film companies and private investors, address the issue of financing independent and debut films and talk about why European and American filmmakers are more successful in obtaining grants than their Russian colleagues. The talk will give an overview of Grant Buro operations, grants selection principles, and offer some practical recommendations on how to improve the chances of receiving international financial support.

The aim of the New Holland Island International Film Debut Festival Education Programme is to introduce the key Russian and European filmmakers and their creative methods as well as films by up and coming cinematographers and most current trends in contemporary cinema not only during the festival dates but through the whole year.
